We had moved to the Blue Mountains in 2019, which is an hour's drive from Sydney. Situated right below the mountains is the town of Emu Plains on one side of the Nepean River and on the other side of the river lies the city of Penrith. I grew up in New Jersey by NYC and this is somewhat like my hometown in various aspects... especially the highway strip. We actually moved to Penrith because we found a really great place in which to live. We lasted three years and then sold. It is a heavy place. New Jersey was better.
